It's been a great experience making this film about my Dad...It's one of those things that, once you've taken the plunge and decided to do it, you'll never regret. The film will remain exhibit A in our family archive! What eDv does is unique, and you do it very well indeed. As somebody who, in my professional life, deals with television and film producers on a daily basis, I can recommend the service you offer with great enthusiasm

The DVD was FAN-bloody-TASTIC and went down like a Chelsea forward in the penalty area. The 100 plus guests were a'hooping and a'hollering when it came on and afterwards many were overheard to say they wished their families would do one for them!! The day itself was great and it would be unfair to describe the DVD as the icing since it was more fundamental than that.

When my son, Ian, suggested making a memoir about my experiences, I was very sceptical, because I did not see how it could be illustrated and edited to be worthwhile. Your production frankly amazed me, and I send warm congratulations for your excellent production. It was outstanding. The music and conclusion was very emotional for me as you no doubt noticed.

I just wanted to let you know that I showed Paul the final DVD and he loves it. I am so delighted since, as you know, he was always concerned about the cost, but he was so pleased with the end result we are definitely keen to keep going with the project.

Just to let you know that the recent videos were a complete HIT with everyone we showed them to—in particular William’s grandparents. Worth every pence!! Also, giving them to everyone on iPads was a great idea. Thank you very much!

The film was a huge success. The highlight of the evening and Hugh loved it… once he had got over the shock!

I just wanted to say what a fantastic job you did on our family video DVD. You really captured the family perfectly, and managed to identify all the key extras. We all watched it as a family together over the summer and my wife started crying all over again. I think that’s a good sign.

We have almost worn out the eDv family movies... they are quite fantastic. You have simply created magic with your editing skills – from hours of what would have been tedious footage [even to us!] they have created the perfect synopsis put together with extreme style, enormous dedication and much humour! When I saw the final edit I was more emotional than I have felt for a very long time. You needed fantastic editing skills to transform my pig's ear videoing into a wonder silk purse of a film. Putting these family memories into watchable form is amazing and I can see at every turn the effort that you have put into the edit.

I wanted to say thank you SO much for Reza's short film - it was a huge success on Saturday and I think we've watched it over 30 times! He absolutely loved, loved it, so many thanks for making this happen!
